UPCOMING EVENTS

The performing arts fosters community, teaches problem-solving, and helps to master anxiety, resulting in self-confidence and resilience. Involvement in the arts leads to better outcomes, both academically and socially. Many of our artists have gone on to further professional careers in the arts, while others have taken the values of teamwork, commitment, determination, and perseverance into other successful careers. By giving them a NEW space to create, Suwanee Performing Arts can support our community’s next generation of creative leaders through the performing arts.

We cannot wait for our new halls to be full of curious young people seeking an artistic home to ignite their imaginations. Our newly renovated facility, with everything under one roof, will provide new opportunities for self-expression, both now and far into the future.

Mission

To ignite a passion for the arts which nurtures and inspires the creative leaders of tomorrow through the magic of live performance.

By Bringing Art to Life in our community, Suwanee Performing Arts helps bring the mission of the City of Suwanee — “Play Hard, Live Well, Smile More” — to life as well.

VISION

We envision a culturally vital community where the performing arts are available and accessible to everyone.

A youth dance company with approximately 20 performers, 6-18 years of age, in a yearlong commitment between June-May.

Community Art Players of Suwanee (CAPS), a theater troupe open to performers of all ages. CAPS performances include Broadway in the Park.

SPA’s most ambitious event of the year, performed every July at Suwanee Town Center, with approximately 50 young artists and more than 4000 viewers annually.

The Actor’s Company (TAC), an improvisational acting troupe of approximately 20 middle/high school-aged company members who meet & perform Aug-May.
