Giving Tuesday

Will you support our village during this season of Giving?

GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a designated day that encourages people to do good. Since then, GivingTuesday has grown into a global generosity movement that unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. Over the last 10 years, GivingTuesday has helped to raise more than $70 million for the benefit of thousands of nonprofits.

Join us in giving back on GivingTuesday (November 29) and throughout this season of giving. Give to a local nonprofit, volunteer, or do an act of kindness. Every act of generosity counts, and each means more when we give together. This year, will you support our village?

Our mission at Suwanee Performing Arts is to ignite a passion for the arts in our community that nurtures and inspires the creative leaders of tomorrow through the magic of live performance. Your donation will help make memories for many actors, dancers, and singers as they prepare and take the stage this performance season.

How does your donation help Suwanee Performing Arts?
We are raising $3,000 for costume costs this season. Did you know that a pre-professional ballet tutu costs around $1,000? The average professional one costs around $2,000. While we keep a stock of tutus, dance wear, and costumes for actors on hand, we often need to purchase and alter costume pieces for our performers. $3,000 will cover almost half of that expense for the year!

While GivingTuesday falls on November 29th this year, you can give now throughout the end of the year! Your generosity is imperative to helping us foster the next generation of artists.

Will you help us reach our $3,000 goal? Every dollar helps to support the arts in our community.
